Numia Vero Volleyball Milan, first match point with Scandicci

Numia Vero Volleyball Milano is back on stage at Allianz Cloud. After last Sunday’s tie-break victory at home opponents, coach Lavarini’s lineup is ready to take the court on Sunday, April 6 at 5 p.m. (live DAZN and VBTV) for Game 3 of the Semi-Final Scudetto against the Tuscan team of Savino Del Bene Scandicci; a delicate challenge for the meneghine and worth the match point to access the Final. In fact, an eventual success would give Milan, which currently leads the Series with a 2-0 record, a place in the final act of the competition.
In these Playoffs, Numia Vero Volleyball confirmed its extremely solid performance at the wall, leading the standings with 50 blocks achieved in four matches, with Conegliano second, stopped at 35. Decisive for this result has been the performance of Serbian center Hena Kurtagic, MVP of the last match – and also of both quarterfinal challenges against Vallefoglia – author so far of no less than 24 monster blocks.
Scandicci’s bench entrusted to Marco Gaspari, who succeeded Frenchman Antiga last October. Great return to Tuscany for Dominican Brenda Castillo, who completes the libero department with another old Vero Volley acquaintance, Beatrice Parrocchiale, and Manuela Ribechi. At setter, Serbia’s Ognjenovic with newcomer Ung; the hitting department welcomed newcomers Bajema and Kotikova, confirmed Herbots, Ruddins, Antropova and Mingardi. Nwakalor and Carol at center were joined by the arrivals of Graziani and Mancini.
