Parma, Cristian Chivu against his past: "Ready to fight"

After three consecutive draws, Parma is expected to face a challenge against Simone Inzaghi’s Inter Milan, which is in full swing in all competitions. On the eve of the challenge, Ducali coach Cristian Chivu bluntly expressed his feelings about facing his former team as an opponent.
“This is a very important match for Parma, not for me. My past I cannot deny, I spent 13 years at that club and my esteem and gratitude will remain forever. Now, however, my focus is exclusively on Parma and the work we have to do to achieve our goals. I have prepared the match as I have always done in this month and a half. We are facing one of the strongest teams d‘Europe and we will have to be ready to handle this kind of challenge” began theucali coach.
“It takes courage and application to understand the moments of the game. They are able to put you under pressure, but a little something they might concede. We always start with the assumption that we start 0-0, they are favored, but my players are ready to fight and give everything to put them in trouble” added the’former Nerazzurri defender.
“We have to take the field in this season finale with grit and the knowledge that we can play with everyone. We will continue to show that we want to keep our category. Playing at home with the stadium sold out would be fantastic and we would really enjoy giving our fans a joy” concluded Cristian Chivu.
