Serie A 2024-2025: Genoa-Udinese, the likely lineups

The 31st day of Serie A opens on Friday night at 8:45 p.m. at the Ferraris stadium in Genoa with the early match between Genoa and Udinese. A match that will pit the solidity of Vieira’s team against the revelation Runjaic. The two coaches, as the standings show, have done very well with the two teams that can play the last matches without any pressure.

Genoa comes to the challenge against the Bianconeri after the defeat suffered in league against Juventus 1-0. Viera’s team is currently 12th in the standings with 35 points from 30 games. One of this year’s revelations has definitely been Kosta Runjaic’s Udinese. Able so far to get 40 points. This has earned them 10th place in the standings. In the three-quarter, space will be given to the youngsters, Miretti on the left and Zanoli on the right, with the experience of Malinovskyi in the center, supporting the only Rossoblù forward, Andrea Pinamonti.

Runjaic’s lineup, on the other hand, which has to deal with the injury suffered by one of its best players: Florian Thauvin. In fact, the French world champion, is likely to miss the match against Genoa, with possible return for the next challenge against AC Milan. The Juventus coach should return to the 4-4-2, already used this season, with Okoye in goal, while in front of him Ehizibue, Bijol and Solet, author of a great goal in the last challenge lost by a narrow margin against Inter, and Kamara. On the outsides should act Atta on the right and Payero on the opposite flank, Lovric paired with Karlstrom in the center. The attacking tandem for the German coach is almost obligatory, given the absence also of Alexis Sanchez due to injury, with the pair formed by Lorenzo Lucca, the team’s top scorer with 10 goals, and Spaniard Iker Bravo.
