Antonio Faravelli and his wines do not miss the appointment with art

Antonio Faravelli

On the occasion of Milano Art Week, MiArt and Fuorisalone 2025, Antonio Faravelli confirms his participation among the most exclusive events on the Milanese scene, taking part in Luigi Angiuli’s solo exhibition, “Cities seen from the sky,” set up at Agenzia 5 Giornate, in the heart of Milan, now recognized as the undisputed capital of culture.

The exhibition celebrates the artistic vision of Luigi Angiuli, known for his abstract representations of urban floor plans: glimpses from above of cities imagined as seen from an airplane or satellite. The works on display through April 11 interpret urban space as an intricate network of streets, squares and enigmatic paths, suggesting the complexity of modern metropolises and their deep connection to human interiority.

Included in the rich calendar of events of Milan Art Week, the exhibition creates a bridge between painting, design and urban architecture, offering an original look at the contemporary landscape.

The chosen location, Agenzia 5 Giornate – housed in the former tollhouse in Piazza Cinque Giornate – is now one of the symbolic spaces of the city’s urban transformation. Already the scene of numerous successful cultural initiatives, it confirms itself as a landmark exhibition venue, capable of merging history, travel and art into a single immersive experience.

The opening was attended by curators Elisabetta Invernici and Alberto Oliva of Galleria&Friends, entrepreneur Marinoni and Friar Giovanni Cropelli, a Capuchin friar, who toasted together with the artist and Antonio Faravelli with bubbles from Cantine Vitea and Golf&Wine 1895.
