L'Inter brakes at Tardini: double comeback Parma and 2-2

L’Inter slows its race, getting two goals back in Parma by the indomitable hosts capable of picking up a 2-2 draw that was extremely heavy both for the race for salvation and for the Scudetto: the Nerazzurri risk finding themselves with a single point lead of Napoli should the partenopei win Monday in Bologna. Chivu comes in with the best possible lineup, leaving Bernabè on the bench. In contrast, Farris, substitute for the disqualified Simone Inzaghi, forgoes the injured Dumfries, Taremi and Zielinski. Parma, which has not won since February and has drawn its last three games, tries to get a result against the Nerazzurri who want to maintain distance from Napoli.

Inter keeps the game and Parma tries to strike on the restarts: that&#8217s the start. And it was on a restart started by Suzuki and completed by Valeri and Bonny that Parma went close to the lead: crazy foot save by Sommer. Danger averted, Inter took the lead on 15′: a filtering ball by Dimarco in the area, which passed between attackers and defenders and reached Darmian, who with a low shot cleared the post and slotted into the net. On 18′ a tightrope walker Bonny sows panic in the area and passes to Man, who fires a low shot that is repelled in the corner by a super Sommer: Parma is there. On 22′ it is Suzuki who works overtime, parrying a close-range shot by Martinez.

A match that proceeded at a bland pace until 45′, when on a filter ball in midfield and a misposition of the Parma defense the ball reached the center of the box to Thuram, who deflected it and lifted a lob that mockingly slipped into the net: resounding doubling of Inter’s lead. In the second half, Chivu changes the midfield set-up by inserting Bernabè, Leoni and Pellegrino in place of Hernani, Almquist and Man. And it was Bernabè at 60′ who shortened the score with a rocket from outside the box that went in just wide of the post: nothing for Sommer to do.

The team was a different Parma.

It is another Parma, biting and attacking a confused Inter. And at 69′ the home team equalizes on an incursion by Ondrejka, who sees his shot deflected into the net by Acerbi: it is a draw and delirium at the Tardini. The Nerazzurri tried to regroup and gain ground, trying to close spaces, but the Crusaders defended with order and always restarted dangerously. In the end it ends 2-2: Parma stops an Inter left, in the second half, in the locker room.
