Milan of the future starts again with Pulisic and Reijnders: "With us for long"

Two players on which to center the Milan of the future, indeed: three. Paolo Scaroni gives names and surnames, and lets it be known that the Rossoneri club is betting heavily on Christian Pulisic and Tijjani Reijnders but also on Rafa Leao. The three stars of the team, according to the Diavolo president, represent not only the present but also the future of the team.

Scaroni, interviewed by the ‘Gazzetta dello Sport’, did not deny himself when asked about the players in today’s Milan that excite him the most. “To mention names is always unpleasant, but for consistency of performance I want to mention two. They are Pulisic and Reijnders, who I think have won over the whole environment. Indeed, it is no coincidence that we want them to stay with us for a long time. But I must also say that when Leao lights up he manages to excite all the fans. Including me”, said the Rossoneri president.

But one thing remains: the poor performances of Milan over the course of this season. “We are certainly not satisfied with the sports results – Scaroni stated bluntly. We have been very active in the market and no one has taken as many players as we have. Now, however, we want to reinforce ourselves at the management level, although I prefer not to go into individual names”.

Scaroni then focused on Cardinale, who has lately ended up at the center of Milan fans’ protests: “More than ever he is determined to win. Noi is here every day, but he devotes many hours of his day to the club and the team. He invested 1.2 billion to buy the club, and contesting him is not the best way to support us”.
