Charles Leclerc vents: "This is not going well at all"

Charles Leclerc is dropped down from the podium again in Japan and at the end of the race he vented, not hiding his bitterness for the beginning of the season below expectations.
“We have made a small improvement, the feeling has improved and I have clear ideas about what I need to do in the next races to feel more comfortable and get a better result. The problem is that if we do everything correctly for the whole weekend but finish fourth… it”s not good at all.
“We are two or three tenths short of McLaren and Red Bull in both qualifying and the race. We have to look ahead and move forward in small steps. This is our maximum for the moment. We have to be happy with the method but not with the result”.
“In Maranello they are working hard and I hope that in Bahrain there can be a quantum leap. I go there with a different attitude on the direction to take and I hope this vision will pay”.
