After a start to the World Championship totally dominated by Marc Marquez, Pecco Bagnaia has finally returned to the scene with a surprising victory in Austin, traditional fortress of the Catalan rider, who fell when he was in command. The number 93 was clearly ahead of the Piedmontese at the time of the fall but now Davide Tardozzi warns him: Bagnaia has regained confidence and now believes.

“Pecco is back”, Tardozzi announced triumphantly to Dazn. “He has made a mental change and, although the bike is not perfect for him right now, at least now he believes”.

“Starting sixth, I told him it was very important to start aggressively. He made a very good start, and then he was able to fight with Marc and Alex”, are the words of the Ducati factory team manager.

Now Bagnaia is back on his heels, and the long-awaited duel can finally get underway: a situation that is exhilarating Tardozzi, who makes an’admission. “Personally, sometimes I exaggerate and get carried away, because for me they are like children… I think the team is doing a great job: the riders, when they come to our house, understand how much we do for them, how much passion we put into helping them get on the podium”.
