NCAA: Florida and Houston go to the finals. Eliminated Duke

It will be Florida and Houston playing, at the’Alamodome in San Antonio, in the 2025 NCAA finals. A final that is, in some ways, unexpected. There is not, in fact, among the two finalists the name of Duke, college of the talented Cooper Flagg, destined for a bright future NBA.
The first challenge of the Final Four saw Florida’s success over Auburn (79-73). In front of a host of basketball legends, including Carmelo Anthony, Hakeem Olajuwon, Dwight Howard, the Gators managed to take home the pass to the finals, thanks to a monster performance by Walter Clayton Jr. (34 points).
“That Walter Clayton Jr. is the real deal” said Roy Williams, who coached Michael Jordan as assistant coach Dean Smith at North Carolina Dean Smith. The Gators return to play a “title game” from as far back as 2007 when they won their second NCAA title.
In the other semifinal, Houston’s blowout win over Duke 70-67. Chewing bitterly, the Blue Devils of outfielder Cooper Flagg (27 points) were eliminated at the most beautiful moment. A 9-0 run in the last 35 seconds by the Cougars was decisive. Third NCAA final for Houston (first two in 1983 and 1984, respectively), which has never won the title. Rendezvous on Monday night and Tuesday for the National Championship Game.
