E’ ended in a draw the salvation challenge between Lecce and Venezia: at the Via del Mare the two goals both come in the second half, to Gallo’s own goal replied Baschirotto. A point that serves little purpose to both teams: Lecce remains 17th with 26 points but breaks the negative series of five defeats in a row. Venezia is still second-to-last on 21 points.

Very intense but goalless first half between Salentini and lagunari. The hosts approach the match better and are dangerous with Ramadani and Pierotti, the lagunari as the minutes go by begin to take the field. The’best chance is signed by Tete Morente before the’halftime: the Spaniard on a counterattack sends wide wasting the opportunity.

Back-and-forth in the second half: the guests took the lead in the 50′ thanks to Gallo’s own goal, who in an attempt to anticipate the opposing attackers beat his own goalkeeper on Zerbin&#8217s insidious free kick. Lecce reacted, however, and it was captain Baschirotto who sounded the charge: at 63′ he committed Radu with a header, and at 65′ he found the equalizer with a framed shot on the development of a corner beaten by Helgason.

Lecce all’guns blazing in the match finale with Krstovic, at 79′ N’Dri hits the post. Radu is then decisive with a crazy save on Baschirotto’s close-range header, in the fiery finale Lecce claims a hand in the box by Candé, but referee Piccinini lets it slide. It ends in a draw.
