Bayern Munich in emergency: Vincent Kompany seeks no alibi ahead of Inter Milan

These are the statements made in a press conference by the coach of the Bayern Munich Vincent Kompany on the eve of the home match at the Allianz Arena against the’Inter, valid for the Inter first leg of the quarterfinals of the Champions League.
“We come to this challenge in a difficult situation, but we are in the Champions League and we must look forward, not backward. The players available will give their best, those who will go on the field have always trained at the top and will make their contribution. I have confidence in these players, I do not want to complain and I do not intend to change our goals” began the Bayern Munich coach.
“Inter is a well-organized team that always finds a way to be dangerous and not only on the counterattack. They also have good play construction, they are strong on set pieces, they score a lot of goals, and they are one of the strongest teams left in the running. They have great players, but we also have our qualities and we have proven to be effective in the goal area” continued the’former Manchester City central defender.
“The most important thing for us is the preparation for the game with Inter. The decision of Muller should be respected, as should his extraordinary, but my focus is exclusively on the challenge with the Nerazzurri. I have to work at my best and deploy the best possible formation” added the’former Burnley coach.
“The important thing is to be able to count on good players on the field and both we and Inter have them, that is why the fans will come to the stadium. As Italian coaches I had Mancini at City and in some respects a little bit’ Inzaghi reminds me of him” commented Vincent Kompany.
