Revolution at Sampdoria: away with coach and sporting director
The third technical revolution at Sampdoria arrives. After Andrea Pirlo and Andrea Sottil, in fact, the blucerchiato club, through a note issued on the club’s official channels, has announced the exoneration of Leonardo Semplici. However, it was not only the coach who jumped, as the Ligurian club also announced the separation from sporting director Pietro Accardi.
“U.C. Sampdoria announces that it has severed professional relations with the head of the Technical Area Pietro Accardi and his collaborator Giuseppe Colucci. The club thanks them for their commitment and professionalism during the season and wishes them the best of luck in the continuation of their respective careers.
At the same time, U.C. Sampdoria announces that it has relieved the coach in charge of the first team, Leonardo Semplici, of his duties. The technician and the members of his staff – Andrea Consumi, Alessio Aliboni, Rossano Casoni and Yuri Fabbrizzi – are to be thanked for the commitment and professionalism shown during the period of work at the club” this is the statement issued by the blucerchiato club.
The Sampdoria team is now in the process of being relieved of their duties.
Sampdoria would already be working on the new coach and the hottest name would be Chicco Evani, with Attilio Lombardo. It remains, however, yet to be defined the club’s next sporting director.
