PSG, Luis Enrique has extra motivation in Champions League

Today PSG will face Aston Villa in the first leg of the Champions League quarterfinals. After eliminating the Liverpool, the Parisians aim to continue their path in the Europe that counts at the expense of another English team.

PSPG is always looking for its first Champions League triumph. Luis Enrique turned the roster upside down to kick-start the’current project. It seemed like a gamble and, instead, the results are proving him right. Moreover, there is now an extra motivation pushing PSG even more and it is called Mbappé.

The French star, in the summer, ended his long adventure at PSG to move to Real Madrid with only one goal: to win the cup with the big ears. Compounded by the 0-3 loss he suffered at home to’Arsenal, Mbappé’s desire could fade as early as the quarterfinals, as happened to him so many times when he played in Paris.

Clearly, many PSG fans are already thinking about what would happen if PSG managed to win the Champions League in the very year that Mbappé wore blanco. We are only in the quarterfinals but there are those who believe that this could be the time for PSG. However, as always, never give up on Real Madrid, a team that, in the past, has made stellar comebacks.
