Lazio, Marco Baroni believes in the comeback

These are the statements made to the microphones of “Sky Sport” by Lazio coach Marco Baroni after the heavy 2-0 defeat suffered against Bodo Glimt in the first leg of the Europa League quarterfinals.
“There’was speed in the exchanges also due to the synthetic pitch. In the return leg, however, I expect a’different competition and the qualification is still open. They are a fresh and bright team, but at the Olympic Stadium some values will be rebalanced and we believe we can manage to overturn the result” began the biancocelesti coach.
“We will have to be higher on key men. We will put a different pressure on the field. Now we have to regain our energy and prepare well for the derby and the return match, where we will have to show all our strength” added the’former coach of Lecce and Verona.
“Our fans do not need appeals, as they have always been close to us. Now we have two games ahead of us against Roma and Bodo Glimt, which will decide a large part of our season finale, and we have every intention of facing them at our best” concluded Marco Baroni.
The statements of the capitolini’s coach were echoed by those of Christos Mandas, whose saves greatly limited the damage to the biancocelesti: “It was not an easy day for us. In the second half we didn’t start off strong and they slipped us right away. We definitely came to this challenge tired after the last game with Atalanta’Atalanta. Now head to Roma and the return leg, where we will try to turn it around in front of our fans”.
