L'Inter pays tribute to Valentino Rossi with a new special uniform

Inter Milan and Valentino Rossi announced on Thursday a special collaboration that, involving also Nike, the technical sponsor of the Nerazzurri club, led to the creation of a new special away uniform dedicated to the nine-time MotoGP champion, who has always been an Inter fan. The jersey celebrates Rossi’s passion for the Nerazzurri colors a few weeks after the 46th birthday of the ‘Dottore’.

This season’s classic away jersey has been revamped by adding iconic elements that have distinguished the career of Valentino Rossi: the famous symbol “Sun and Moon” has been integrated into the heart of the jersey’s design, as well as the number 46 will appear below the technical sponsor’s logo, along with a second label located on the bottom of the jersey that reads “Engineered to the exact specifications of Valentino Rossi” (designed to the exact specifications of Valentino Rossi).

“It will be an honor to see the boys of my team wearing this jersey created together with Nike and Inter – said Rossi to the official channels of the Nerazzurri club – It is a dream come true, combining the’love for motorcycling and my heart team. A gesture of great affection toward a team that has always made me feel at home”.

46 years old last Feb. 16, Valentino Rossi is one of the most successful Italian sportsmen in history, not only in motorcycling. Having closed his extraordinary two-wheel career, the ‘Dottore’ has focused on another great passion of his, that of racing cars, achieving prestigious results even in GT championships. He’s also founder and owner of the VR46 team, world champion in Moto2 in 2018 with Pecco Bagnaia: the team, at present, is engaged in MotoGp with two Ducatis, entrusted to Fabio Di Giannantonio and Franco Morbidelli.
