NBA: Doncic leads Lakers in his return to Dallas, Warriors mocked

There were 10 games played on the night NBA. The most eagerly awaited was surely the one between the Dallas Mavericks and the Los Angeles Lakers that saw Luka Doncic return to the American Airlines Center for the first time as an opponent.

After an emotional tribute in which the Slovenian couldn&#8217t hold back tears, the yellow-violet star shook off his emotions, dragging the Lakers to victory (112-97) with a sumptuous performance: 45 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists for him.

Atrocious blowout for the Golden State Warriors, defeated at home by the San Antonio Spurs (111-114) with a triple at the buzzer by Harrison Barnes, who finished with 20 points. No problem, on the other hand, for the Denver Nuggets, who beat the Sacramento Kings (124-116) thanks to yet another triple-double by Nikola Jokic (20 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists).

The Oklahoma City Thunder also won, dooming the Phoenix Suns (125-112), who were officially eliminated from the post-season. There’s no stopping the Los Angeles Clippers, who sweep the Houston Rockets (134-117) thanks to a 35-point, 10-assist James Harden.

Painless defeat for the Boston Celtics, who were outplayed by the Orlando Magic (76-96) to secure seventh place in the East, while the Chicago Bulls beat the Miami Heat (119-111) to take ninth place in the playoff race.

Finally, successes also for the Philadelphia 76ers, Toronto Raptors and Utah Jazz getting the better of the Washington Wizards (122-103), Charlotte Hornets (126-96) and Portland Trail Blazers (133-126), respectively.
