Varese goes to Naples: coach Kastritis calls for energy and determination

These are the statements made in a press conference by Varese Basketball head coach Ioannis Kastritis a few days before the external challenge against GeVi Napoli, valid for the 26th day of the LBA regular season.

“I have to be honest and I have to say that since returning to the gym this week I have seen an’excellent reaction from the guys to the loss against Cremona. We have to continue like this; we have been working very well in training and even though we will have one less day to prepare for the game against Napoli, I am sure we will be ready to compete at the required level” began the head coach of the red and white.

“Napoli is a team with a lot of talent; they have quality players on the roster who have also played in the Euroleague like Pangos, Green and Pullen, and then Zubcic, a player who brings a lot of quality. Overall, it is an experienced team” added the Greek coach.

“We know what awaits us on Saturday night and we have to be ready to play our game by putting a lot of energy and will in every possession. If we can do that, then, we will have our chances” concluded Ioannis Kastritis.
