Italian hat trick in Assen: Bulega wins over Locatelli and Petrucci
It’s blue domination in race 1 of Assen in Superbike. On the Dutch track, in fact, Nicolo Bulegà took the victory ahead of his compatriots Andrea Locatelli and Danilo Petrucci, after a race dominated far and wide.
The Italian trio was not able to contend with the Italian trio, Toprak Razgatlioglu.
He failed to contend for the podium with the Italian trio Toprak Razgatlioglu, who had to settle for fourth position ahead of Iker Lecuona. Closing in sixth and seventh were Xavi Vierge and Dominique Aegerter. Completing the top 10: Remy Gardner, Michael Van der Mark and Scott Redding.
Race 1 to forget, however, for Andrea Iannone, Axel Bassani and Yari Montella, all three forced to retire after a crash. Same fate also for Alvaro Bautista and Sam Lowes.
