Salice Terme welcomes Antonio Faravelli with his wines

Antonio Faravelli, a winemaker and golfer from Montù Beccaria, in Oltrepò Pavese, is the owner of Cantine Vitea and creator of the “Golf and Wine 1895” project, presented at the Golf & Country Club of Salice Terme. The initiative, enthusiastically welcomed by numerous participants, aims to relaunch the brand starting from a territory historically linked to viticulture, with the goal of strengthening its identity and promoting its enhancement.
At the heart of the project is wine tourism, considered a key element in enriching the golf experience in Italy. Italian wine, recognized worldwide as a cultural heritage, thus becomes an ideal complement to enhance the golf-related tourism offer.
Faravelli’s idea moves within a context of wine excellence and great tourism potential, proposing an original combination of golf and wine. This model aims to bring out lesser-known but tradition-rich territories, creating new tourist destinations and redistributing visitor flows in a more balanced way in the country.
The integration of sports and viticulture is proposed as an effective lever to promote the value of Made in Italy, turning the passion for golf and wine into a concrete opportunity for sustainable economic growth.
During the event, participants had the opportunity to taste and purchase award-winning wines from Cantine Vitea, including those prized by Giacomo Puccini himself.
