Juventus, Tudor has already accomplished a'feat: reborn Koopmeiners

Although with some risk in the end, Juventus also overcame the Lecce obstacle (2-1) and thus continues its path toward a place in the next Champions League. Against the Salentini, among the protagonists of the Bianconeri victory, there’was surely Koopmeiners.

Object of mystery for several months, the’former Atalanta midfielder seems to have found himself. Tudor’s arrival on the Bianconeri bench has been a godsend for the Dutchman, who seems decidedly more involved in the game. Indeed, one is beginning to see again the midfielder admired in Bergamo. Costing about 60 million euros, he has experienced difficult months, partly because of Thiago Motta’s decision to deploy him, often, in the trequartista role, where he has struggled.

Having such motivated Koopmeiners in the final rush of the season is a major plus for this Juventus side that is still waiting for Vlahovic’s goals. Tudor is working on the heads of every member of the squad and, in Koop’s case, the work is paying off big time.
