Sassuolo has won promotion to Serie A with five games d’advance to the end of the Serie B championship. The neroverde team celebrated in front of the TV, thanks to a 2-2 draw by third-ranked Spezia in Mantova.

The Ligurians got a comeback in the second half of the match valid for the 33rd day. Salvatore Esposito and Aurelio had put the Ligurians ahead, the hosts remounted in the second half with goals by Maggioni at’80’ and 94′. In the standings Spezia still third, 7 points behind second-placed Pisa and 16 behind Sassuolo, which can no longer be caught up.

The Emilians thus immediately returned to the top flight one year after last season&#8217s bitter relegation: on Saturday they had won 3-1 in Modena.

A tie, 1-1, also between Cesena and Frosinone (Saric was answered by Ambrosino). 1-1 also for Cremonese, stopped at home by Juve Stabia. The grigiorossi remounted Adorante’s goal with Bonazzoli and in the standings remain fourth at -6 points behind third-placed Spezia. Juve Stabia is fifth at 50 points.
