F1, McLaren: Andrea Stella’s words to charge Lando Norris

Lando Norris leaves Bahrain with opposite feelings. Bad in qualifying, he recovered several positions in the race, finishing third. However, as he admitted in the post-race, he still made many mistakes that probably precluded him from fighting, on equal terms, with teammate Oscar Piastri, winner of the GP.

Andrea Stella, McLaren team principal, had important words for his driver: “It must be said that Lando has never, I say never, pointed the finger at the team. This year we changed so much of the single-seater. He was comfortable with the previous version but he is adapting. That is why it is also our responsibility to put him in the best conditions to perform at his best” his words to Sky Sport.

On the fact that Lando Norris always says what he thinks, Andrea Stella himself explained how every driver has his own style but there is no one who is not conditioned by the results he gets with his single-seater. Lando Norris, from this point of view, is one who expresses, without filters, his own (true) thinking.

Still leading the drivers’ standings (+3 on his teammate), Lando Norris hopes to redeem himself at the Saudi Arabian GP, scheduled for next weekend. As stated by Andrea Stella, the team is ready to support him in every way.
