Matthew Arnaldi&#8217s adventure at the Atp tournament in Barcelona ends in the first round. The Ligurian champion is rematched by U.S. Sebastian Korda (world 24), who wins with a score of 3-6, 6-3, 6-2.

Last year Arnaldi was eliminated in the quarterfinals by Casper Ruud, but this time he suffered a lot physically from the second set onward. The opponent was adept at taking advantage of the Ligurian tennis player&#8217s decline and snatched the pass for the second round.

Matteo Arnaldi approached the match very well and there was no history in the first set. He tried to start strong in the second partial as well, but fatigue began to set in and Korda was adept at taking advantage.

From there on, the U.S. took advantage of every opportunity and completed the comeback in the third set.
