Flavio Cobolli straight out at the Munich ATP 500 in Bavaria. The tennis player from Rome surrendered in three sets to Alexander Shevchenko, world number 104, who prevailed with a final score of 6-7 6-3 6-4 after a two-hour, 37-minute battle.

A rocket start by the Blue, who went up 3-0 in no time. Immediate, however, was the reaction of Shevchenko, who not only recovered the disadvantage (3-3) but allowed himself a chance to serve for the set (5-4). Cobolli, however, managed to come back into the set (5-5), winning the partial set at tie-break (7-2) after squandering three consecutive set points in the 12th game.

The second set had a strong and successful outcome.

The second set had a much more linear progression: what made the difference was a single break, scratched by the Kazakh in the sixth game and defended until the final 6-3 with which the match returned to a perfect tie-break.

A nightmarish start for the Blue in the third and decisive set in which he immediately found himself down 0-4. Here, however, with yet another twist in the match, Cobolli managed to retake his opponent at 4-4. A new stretch by Shevchenko (6-4), however, cost the Roman the match, who surrendered only on the fourth match point.
