Beppe Marotta sheds light on Inter's market

On the sidelines of the Champions League quarterfinal return match between Inter and Bayern Munich, Nerazzurri CEO Beppe Marotta spoke to ‘Sky Sport‘ among other things, about the prospects related to the market, given that the first of the two summer sessions will kick off in less than two months and will begin just before the World Club Championship.
“Ours is a well-defined plan – explained Marotta -, it is not directly linked to the results of this season. It’s clear that it is our intention to end the season in the best possible way, but in my opinion we have already achieved great results, both on the sporting and economic profile”.
The Club“s plan is not directly linked to the results of this season.
“The club is ready to invest in Italian profiles, young, with the’idea of reinforcing an already competitive squad– added the Nerazzurri executive -. However, to these should be added experienced players, because when you are engaged on several fronts it is right to have in the team players accustomed to a certain level”.
Beyond the Champions discourse, Inter is in the running for two other titles: they are in fact leading the Italian championship, 3 points ahead of Napoli, with six days to go, while in the Coppa Italia they have to face Milan in the semifinal return match after the 1-1 draw in the first leg. In addition, the Nerazzurri will participate in the new Club World Cup, where they are placed in the group with River Plate, Urawa Reds and Monterrey.
