Inter in the semifinals of the Champions League, where they will face Barcelona. This is the consequence of the 2-2 tale by the Nerazzurri at San Siro, but above all of the victory obtained in the first leg in Munich. A comfortable result at the end of a complicated match, but solved by Simone Inzaghi’s men with two goals in three minutes: by Lautaro Martinez and Benjamin Pavard the signatures.

Tense but exciting first half, in which the teams on the field already hint at the spectacle that will mark the’entire match. Indeed, within the first three minutes come one’chance per side, with Kane on one side and Thuram on the other. Then Dimarco engages Urbig and twice Olise makes San Siro hold its breath. But Inter closes the half on a crescendo, making themselves dangerous with first Thuram and then Calhanoglu. Then Sommer saves everything on Muller, Sané and Kane.

After the excitement of the first half, the goals came in the second half. After a protest by Thuram for a possible penalty and a great reflex by Urbig on Dimarco, it was Kane at 52′ who unblocked the score: he did so by making the most of Goretzka’s assist, skillful in picking up a stray ball on the edge of the area, to then dribble past Dimarco and coldly slice past Sommer.

The goal was scored by a goal from the spot.

Inter risked capitulation, but on 58′ Lautaro Martinez equalized in a scrum and as early as 61′ they even took the lead with Pavard’s powerful through ball on Calhanoglu’s corner. It is not over yet: on 76′ a new equalizer arrives, thanks to a strange header from Dier. In the closing minutes, the Nerazzurri suffered, but held on and returned to the Champions semifinals against Barcelona. Just like in 2010…
