Simone Inzaghi exults, but warns Inter: "Everything depends on us"

Inter again in the Champions League semifinals, after the non-trivial 2-2 collected at San Siro against Bayern Munich. And at the end of the game Simone Inzaghi is a flood of praise for his team, still in contention for all three season goals. With the next European challenge that will see the Nerazzurri face the same opponent as in 2010: Barcelona.

“We faced a very strong team, which showed it in both matches. However, we strongly wanted this qualification, and we got it in a stadium that helped us so much by giving us a wonderful evening together with our fans. Now we enjoy this evening”, was Inzaghi’s comment to the microphones of ‘Sky Sport‘.

“We were very good and united, the only way to beat a team of such a level – continued Inzaghi. However, I would also like to emphasize the lucidity we had after conceding Bayern Munich’s goal. We stayed within the game, so much so that we equalized and even took the lead. Good then they scored again”.

“We were aware that it was going to be a difficult quarterfinal, and getting through the round repays us for the many sacrifices we have made so far. We want to continue our run, but now everything depends on us. We play often and it is not easy, we have to recover some players.
