Marco Materazzi pushes Inter to another Triplete
Marco Materazzi spoke to Gazzetta dello Sport the day after the victory over Bayern Munich that sent Inter into the Champions League semifinals. “Triplete? We are so few steps away from making history, and the team’s desire to go all the way is so strong, that now anything is really possible. A special environment has been created, where everyone is rowing compactly in the same direction”.
“The season has been long, full of commitments, but this is the best time because it is the time of harvest. And also of the suffering, because the strength wanes and there is to suffer: you have to push and reason from game to game. It was right to celebrate, because being back in the semifinals, especially after eliminating a great team like Bayern, is a great achievement, but from now we need to think already about Sunday and the away match in Bologna.
