Ferrari, Lewis Hamilton in trouble, Charles Leclerc confident

Lewis Hamilton does not hide some doubts about his performance at the wheel of the Ferrari: in the free practice of the Grand Prix d’Saudi Arabia the Briton was rather delayed on the Jeddah circuit the seven-time world champion placed thirteenth.
“It was a challenging day. We are still trying to find the right balance between the front and rear axles, and at the moment I am still struggling to find a consistent performance throughout the lap”.

“There’s work to be done, but the team is totally focused on that and we will continue to work hard to find the improvements we need” concluded Hamilton.
Looking more confidently at the weekend, on the strength of his fourth fastest time, Charles Leclerc: “We still lack a little bit’of pace compared to the cars in front of us, but if we can put it all together tomorrow I think it can be an interesting and hard-fought qualifying.”
“We all seem to be pretty close, with McLaren seeming slightly ahead. We’ll keep focusing on ourselves and see what we can pull out,” concluded the Monegasque.
