Varese, coach Kastritis wants to give a'more joy to his fans

These are the statements made at a press conference by the head coach of the Pallacanestro Varese Ioannis Kastritis on the eve of the home challenge against the Dinamo Sassari, valid for the 27th day of the regular season of Serie A.
“The victory against Naples in the’last round has not changed our approach and commitment in training which, indeed, has always been the same regardless of the result, even negative. We know that regardless of what happens in the game, it is our duty to turn the page quickly and throw ourselves immediately into the next commitment” began the head coach of the biancorossi.
“I am not going to wait for the’outcome of the game against Sassari to say and confirm that this week our guys have been really very serious and focused during the workouts that we have been doing. They have worked really well and I believe that tomorrow we will be competitive against a great opponent like Dinamo, which is back from five consecutive wins” continued the Greek coach.
“We will have to play a high level game in both phases of the game to be able to get a good result. Sassari is a strong team, definitely the fittest in the whole league, they play hard, aggressive and love to steal the ball right away to run in transition and take advantage of the excellent shooting qualities of their players” added the Tripoli native.
The Greek coach added.
“We will have to be very careful in managing possessions, trying to limit lost balls. We know their strengths and weaknesses; as I like to say every time before every game, for us the most important thing is to want to win, be ready to show our qualities and give us another joy at home in front of our fans” concluded Ioannis Kastritis.
