Virtus Bologna in Pistoia: Ivanovic’s deputy focuses on group unity

After the success in the direct clash with Brescia, the Virtus Bologna continues its race for first place on an away trip to Pistoia, which needs to win to relaunch itself in the salvation race. Speaking to the official channels of the Black Vu’s, Dusko Ivanovic’s assistant coach tried to identify the key factors to conquer PalaCarrara.

“A very tough challenge awaits us against Pistoia, who will fight on every possession. Right from the two-ball they will try to put us in trouble by playing hard and aggressive” debuted the deputy of Dusko Ivanovic.

“We know their way of playing on offense, based a lot on penetrations after close outs and shots from mid-range. We are very clear in our heads what we will have to do defensively according to our principles” added the Black Vu’s assistant coach.

“The key thing will be to play as much as possible as a team on both sides of the court. We will have to be aggressive and try to win every duel” concluded Nenad Jakovljevic.
