Volleyball: Conegliano moves closer to'eighth scudetto

The Prosecco Doc Imoco Conegliano overwhelmed Numia Vero Volley Milan in game 2 at the Unipol Forum and moved another step closer to the eighth Scudetto in its history, the seventh consecutive one. The defending champions prevailed with scores of 22-25, 20-25, 18-25, confirming their supremacy and taking a 2-0 lead in the final series against the meneghine.
Nothing helped Paola Egonu’s 19 points, eight those of Miriam Sylla: Conegliano dominated with Gabi’s 19 points and Haak’s 17, Zhu also did well with 11 points.
Tuesday scheduled game 3 at Palaverde, match point for l’Imoco: Milan will do everything to extend the challenge to game 4.
