Atalanta expels San Siro, Milan further and further away from Europe

At the Giusepe Meazza Stadium, Atalanta beats AC Milan 1-0 in the Easter evening match of the thirty-third day of Serie A and consolidates third place, moving to -7 from the Inter-Napoli pair and perhaps definitively distancing the Rossoneri from the Champions League zone, from which they are 9 points behind.
The first real chance of the match comes after almost half of the first half: on 20 minutes Bellanova crosses from the right, Ederson is alone but his header puts it out.
On 44 minutes Jimenez vertically for Jovic who with his left puts it out. No shots on goal but high pace in the first half.
.
Resume. Leao with his typical action on the left peels a shot that becomes a cross for Pulisic, who misses by a whisker. In the 54th minute Tomori puts in the middle but neither Jovic nor Leao gets there. In the 62nd minute, the guests take the lead: Retegui for Lookman, cross, Belanova oer Ederson’s bank who surprises Maignan and scores.
.
On 74′ Lookman crosses for Reteguim who anticipates Pavlovic in the split but fails to double. In the 89th minute Joao Felix is providentially stopped by De Roon. In the 90th minute, however, it is Maignan who saves on Lookman making the first ever save of the two goalkeepers. It ends with Atalanta’s victory.
