Jannik Sinner wins even without playing: equaled Rafael Nadal

Beginning Monday, April 21, his 46th week as world No. 1 in the ATP rankings, Jannik Sinner equaled a sacred monster in the history of world tennis, Rafael Nadal, despite not taking the court due to the suspension agreed upon with Wada, which by the way is nearing its conclusion.
Like Sinner, in fact, the Mallorcan had been 46 weeks ahead of everyone else after first reaching the top of the world rankings.
Just a few more days and Nadal himself will be additittura surpassed, with Sinner aiming to join three other racquet legends, right on the threshold of his return to competition.
The all-time record for weeks at the top consecutively on first landing at No. 1, taking into account the rankings since 1973, that is, since the introduction of the computerized ranking, is held by Jimmy Connors, ahead of everyone for an impressive 160 weeks. He is followed by Lleyton Hewitt with 75 consecutive weeks and Novak Djokovic, at 53.
In the ATP rankings, however, it is not only Sinner who shines: Lorenzo Musetti is in fact very close to the Top 10 being No. 11 while Matteo Berrettini is No. 31, Flavio Cobolli is No. 36, Lorenzo Sonego is No. 43, Matteo Arnaldi is No. 44, Luciano Darderi is No. 46, Mattia Bellucci is No. 66, and Luca Nardi is No. 100. Also between 101st and 200th positions are Francesco Passaro (No. 101), Fabio Fognini (No. 112), Matteo Gigante (No. 195) and Federico Arnaboldi (No. 200).
