As it does every year, the’NBA is preparing to present the awards tied to the 2024-25 regular season. All finalists unveiled. Big attention especially for the three finalists for the title of MVP. Three all-stars of the caliber of Jokic (Denver), Gilgeous-Alexander (OKC) and Antetokounmpo (Milwaukee) will play for the coveted trophy.

The big favorite seems to be Gilgeous-Alexander, author of an epic season leading his OKC team with 32.7 points per contest average. Beware of Jokic who, statistically speaking (29.6 points, 12.7 rebounds and 10.2 assists per game), is no match for the Thuder’s all-star. Jokic, who has already won the MVP trophy on three occasions, is the first player to finish first or second in the MVP standings. That hasn&#8217t happened since Bird in the ’80s.

Interesting also is the race for Defensive Player of the Year. Accomplice to Wembanyama’s exit from the game, Mobely (Cleveland Cavaliers), Daniels (Atlanta Hawks) and Green (Golden State Warriors) will vie for the award.

The award will be up for grabs.

For the Most Improved Player award, heavily favored Cunningham while the Sixth Man of the Year trophy sees Pritchard, one of the Boston Celtics aces, in pole position (the other two finalists are Jerome of the Cavs and Beasley of the Pistons). Finally, for the Coach of the Year title, running for Atkinson (Cleveland), Bickerstaff (Detroit) and Udoka (Houston).
