Serie A, dates and times of 33rd day replays announced

The four matches of the 33rd day of Serie A not played on Monday, April 21, as a sign of mourning for the death of Pope Francis, will all be played late afternoon on Wednesday, April 23, starting at 6:30 p.m. That’s what Lega Serie A announced, which also confirmed for 9 p.m. of the same Wednesday the Coppa Italia return semifinal between Inter and Milan and the one scheduled twenty-four hours later between Bologna and Empoli.

“Following the postponements of the matches of the 33rd day of the Serie A Enilive Championship – reads the note of the League that brings together the clubs of the top series -, below is the schedule of the recoveries of the affected matches:
CAGLIARI – FIORENTINA Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at 18:30
GENOA – LAZIO Wednesday, April 23, 2025 6:30 pm
PARMA – JUVENTUS Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at 6:30 p.m.
TORINO – UDINESE Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at 6:30 pm”.

As anticipated by a note from the Coni, the matches in question will be preceded by a minute of recollection to honor the memory of the Holy Father, who passed away at 7:35 a.m. Monday, April 21 at the age of 88, after nearly 12 years of pontificate.
