Anna Kalinskaya is ready to get back into the game. The Russian tennis player took a break for about 20 days after a good result at the Charleston tournament, which ended in the quarterfinals, and now she is about to make her European debut, where in a few days she will debut in the WTA 1000 in Madrid against the winner of the match between Ukraine&#8217s Kalinina and Romania&#8217s Begu.

The Moscow athlete last season had exited immediately in her debut against Czech Sara Bejlek, while two years ago she made it all the way to the third round. Anna will have to confirm the good things she showed in the last American tournaments, with the hope of moving up the WTA ranking, which now sees her in 28th place.

For the occasion, Anna Kalinskaya has given herself a makeover: on her Instagram stories she showed off her long blond hair, with the words “back with my hair queen” (”back with my hair queen”).

After Madrid, it will be time for the Internazionali d’Italia: in Rome she may finally re-embrace Jannik Sinner. Then in late May Roland Garros, which will close the season on clay.
