Two games of the 2025 NBA playoffs were played in the night, vaide for the first round in the Eastern and Western Conference specifically between New York Knicks–Detroit Pistons and Denver Nuggets-Los Angeles Clipper.

Simone Fontecchio (left out by technical choice) and his teammates eked out a 94-100 victory at Madison Square Garden, immediately tying the score at 1-1 in the series that now shifts to Michigan for Game 3 and Game 4. Cade Cunningham was decisive with 33 points and 12 rebounds.

Sternal sweep also by the Los Angeles Clippers, who swept against the Denver Nuggets 102-105 thanks to a Kawhi Leonard MVP with 39 points. The usual Nikola Jokic triple-double (26 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists) was not enough.
