True Volleyball Milan, Stefano Lavarini already looks to rematch

The battle in game-3 was tighter than the 3-0 final says, but at the end Numia Vero Volley Milano had to surrender to the overwhelming power of Prosecco Doc Imoco Conegliano, able to win, on Tuesday night, its seventh consecutive scudetto beating Alessia Orro, Paola Egonu and companions.
On the sidelines of the match that awarded the Tricolor, Vero Volleyball coach Stefano Lavarini honors the opponents but reminds that the rivalry between the two teams will experience a new, exciting chapter in ten days: the Champions League semifinal. “We would have liked to fight even more than what was seen, but I am not complaining about the spirit with which we took the court today” began the 1979-born coach.
“During the course of the series we were more fearful than we should have been, and on this aspect we need to grow in view of the coming weeks– he then explained -; there still awaits us the Champions League, a competition to be experienced. We will have a chance to do all the necessary technical and tactical analysis, but the opponent proved superior and richly deserved the victory; we can only congratulate, learn and improve”.
“In a very short time we will be back in Istanbul to try to reverse the prediction, in a dry match that is similar to today but with another meaning” concluded Lavarini, who aims to spoil the party for a club that last season and in this one (at least so far) has won all the tournaments in which it has taken part, in Italy and internationally.
