UYBA Volleyball Busto Arsizio, third renewal

UYBA Volley Busto Arsizio today formalized the third player confirmed for the 2025-2026 season: after the announcements of Rebecca Piva and Silke Van Avermaet, it is now Federica Pelloni’s turn. The young Modenese libero, class of 2002, will wear the red and white jersey for the second consecutive year, after a debut in Serie A1 that positively surprised for maturity and performance.
Who arrived in Busto Arsizio in the summer of 2024 after an excellent season in A2 with Offanengo, Federica quickly earned the trust of the coaching staff and fans. In the 2024-2025 championship she collected 26 appearances, showing great reliability in reception (36% perfect on an impressive 482 hits) and steady growth throughout the season.
Federica Pelloni’s career began in Volley Castelvetro, and then continued in the youth ranks of Modena, where she participated in the Under 16 and Under 17 national finals. Subsequently, she played for Sassuolo, making her debut in Series C and B2 as an Under 18. In 2019-2020, she collected six appearances in the A2 Series with Green Warriors Sassuolo, where she remained the following season as well, totaling fourteen appearances. In the 2021-2022 season, she played with Clai Imola in the B1 Series, then returned to Sassuolo in A2 in 2022-2023. In 2023-2024, with Bressan Offanengo in A2, she played 28 games, finishing with 40.6% in reception.
The confirmation of Pelloni represents an important piece for UYBA, which aims to consolidate its technical project with young and ambitious athletes. Her determination and ability to adapt quickly to the rhythms of the top league make her a key pawn for the team’s future.
With the contract extension, Federica Pelloni is getting ready to live a new season as a protagonist with the “Farfalle,” ready to defend the red and white colors with grit and passion in the new A1 series championship.
“My first season in A1 at UYBA was amazing, both personally and as a team. In the next one we will have to try to repeat: it will not be easy but we want to try to raise the bar. This championship has been full of excitement and I am sure the next one will be even more so.”
