Moise Kean will miss Fiorentina’s trip to Cagliari. This was announced by the purple club itself just minutes before the start of the match scheduled to take place in Sardinia on Wednesday, with kick-off at 18:30. On the field in his place, Raffaele Palladino has decided to rely on Lucas Beltran alongside Albert Gudmundsson.

In its official note, the lily club did not go into too much detail about the reasons for the’absence of its main gunner. “ACF Fiorentina announces that footballer Moise Kean had to leave the Cagliari training camp due to family reasons and will not be among those available for this afternoon’s match. The player will return to Florence in the coming days” reads the statement.

Same official line adopted by Alessandro Ferrari, general manager of Fiorentina, who framed the situation at the microphones of ‘DAZN‘. “Yesterday Kean asked us about the possibility of leaving the training camp for family reasons. We decided to say yes, and we are close to him. He will be back in the coming days”, explained the purple executive.

Harsher words on Fiorentina’s sliding of the match, which created several logistical problems for the team. “We thank Cagliari who allowed us to train in their facilities. But we did not like the League’s management, it left 65 people stranded with a communication that came late” protested Ferrari.
