Monza Resegone prepares for an exciting new edition

The “Relay” mode is also back: a relay race in three fractions
The Monza Resegone is preparing for an exciting new edition. After its centennial success, the historic running competition returns on Saturday, June 21, 2025, with its 63rd edition, confirming the two race modes introduced last year: the “Classic” and “Relay” versions.
One year after the centenary, the enthusiasm for the Monza Resegone shows no signs of abating. Organized by the Società Alpinisti Monzesi, the race keeps its charm intact: starting from the Arengario in Monza, crossing Brianza and arriving at the Capanna Alpinisti Monzesi hut on Mount Resegone. An epic course that will once again test athletes in a challenge of endurance and determination.
In addition to the historic “Classic” version, with teams of three athletes tackling the 42 km and 1,000 meters of elevation gain together, the “Relay” mode is also back: a relay in three fractions that allows multiple runners to share the excitement of Monza Resegone, with segments of 15.3 km (Monza-Osnago), 15.7 km (Osnago-Olginate) and 12.2 km (Olginate-Rifugio Capanna Alpinisti Monzesi).
