These are the statements made in a press conference by the coach of the Como Cesc Fabregas a few days before the home match against Genoa, valid for the 34th day of Serie A.

“A very interesting match awaits us because the Genoa is a team that works very tactically, taking care of detail well, and this is a glaring aspect of Vieira’s work. Patrick is a great coach, I&#8217ve followed him quite a bit because I played with him 2 years, I&#8217ve faced him as an opponent and for me he is an idol. He’s a person I respect so much, not only for the player, but for the leader he was before on the field and he is today as a coach. We and Genoa are the teams that have grown the most in this second half of the championship” began the Larians’ coach.

“The three consecutive victories must give us confidence to continue. Now it is no longer an aspect of technique or tactics, but of the mentality of wanting to continue winning. Today we are reaping the reward for all the work we have done during the season” continued the’former Chelsea and Barcelona midfielder.

“I want to see who is prepared to continue playing at Como, who continues to fight for his place. No one is guaranteed a place here, you have to work hard every day in training and in the game” added the coach of the white-blue.

“Assane was very sad and being injured for a footballer is the worst thing possible. He hurt himself kicking, the operation went very well and we will definitely have him ready in July for the start of the training camp, this is an important thing” concluded Cesc Fabregas.
