Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team

The Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team returned to Europe by clinching direct Q2 with both Franco Morbidelli and Fabio Di Giannantonio on Friday’s Spanish Grand Prix. Both riders showed good pace throughout the day, with the number 21 taking third and the 49 snatching qualification thanks to ninth place in pre-qualifying.

Intervening at the team&#8217s official channels, the former Prima Pramac team centaur analyzed his two free practice sessions and unburdened himself ahead of the rest of the weekend.

“It&#8217s been a very positive day, with no hiccups, which was what we were hoping for. We did a great job today improving the bike from this morning to this afternoon, both in terms of race pace and speed, especially with the new tires” debuted the number 21 centaur.

“We are strong almost all over the track, but we are still missing something in the first sector, so we have to look at the data. I am happy and confident for tomorrow, doing a good lap will be crucial, there will be a lot of traffic and the track is very narrow, but the goal remains the front row” added Franco Morbidelli.

The first row is the first row.

In addition to the’former Yamaha Petronas, teammate Fabio Di Giannantonio also spoke to the official VR46 team channels: “Today we tried a quite different solution of the bike to try to make a step, but we need to work a lot on this solution and there was not too much time. So we went back to a condition that I know a lot more, but I didn’t work a lot on the tires and the setup. The good thing is that we are going very fast, then on this track we have always been fast. If we fix small things there is a lot of margin and we can get very close to the leaders”.
