Moto2: Manuel Gonzalez wins and returns leader

Manuel Gonzalez won the Spanish Moto 2 Grand Prix of Spain as a master: the Spanish centaur of the Intact GP team, who started from pole position, dominated the race while maintaining a pace unattainable by rivals, and returned to the top of the world standings after the fifth round of the season.
With the 22-year-old from Madrid on the podium were Belgian Barry Baltus and Australian Senna Agius. Only eighth was the previous world leader Aron Canet, while the best Italian was Celestino Vietti, who finished seventh.
In fourth was Brazilian Diego Moreira, while Turkish Deniz Oncu finished fifth ahead of Spaniard Albert Arenas. Also in the points among the Italians was Tony Arbolino, who finished only 15th.
