Nico Gonzalez and Kolo Muani knock out Monza: 2-0 for bianconeri

At the Juventus Stadium in Turin, Juventus beat Monza 2-0, confirming its solidity and ability to strike at the right moments. A victory built entirely in the first half thanks to goals by Nico Gonzalez in the 11th minute and Kolo Muani in the 33rd minute, in a match that also saw moments of high tension, culminating with the expulsion of Yildiz at the end of the first half.
The start of Tudor’s team was vehement: high pressing, intensity and quality in the plays. After a few minutes it was immediately Nico Gonzalez who blew up the stadium with a great left-footed outside shot that left Turati no chance. The goal mentally unlocks the Bianconeri, who continue to push. In the 33rd minute came the doubling signed by Kolo Muani, who was good at taking advantage of a perfect assist from Thuram and beating the visiting goalkeeper with a precise flat right.
The match seemed to be headed, but in the 45th minute the twist: Yildiz, who had just returned from injury, was the protagonist of a naive and violent foul on Bianco. VAR intervenes and the referee decides for a direct red card. Juve ends the first half with ten men, but they do not flinch.
In the resumption Monza tries to react, showing a more proactive attitude. The changes made by Nesta – including Sensi, Petagna and Ciurria – bring new energy, but Di Gregorio and the Bianconeri rearguard respond. The last minutes are nervous, with several cautioned and a near brawl after a shove by Carboni on Costa.
In the end, however, Juventus took home three heavy points and showed signs of growth under the Tudor management. Monza tried, but without ever really threatening the Bianconeri victory. Juventus fourth, Monza virtually doomed to Serie B.
