Franco Baresi operated on his lungs: Milan’s statement

Franco Baresi, honorary vice president of AC Milan, has undergone surgery to remove a pulmonary nodulation. This was announced by the Rossoneri club itself through an official note: “AC Milan informs that, following routine investigations, our honorary vice president, Franco Baresi, was found to have a pulmonary nodulation, for which it was decided to proceed with removal by surgery using a minimally invasive technique”.
“The surgery went well and the postoperative course was free of complications – adds the Diavolo statement.”
Franco was subsequently evaluated by the oncology specialist with indication for immunotherapy-based consolidation therapy”.
“The entire Board of Directors, the Club Management, the employees and collaborators, the technical staff, and the Milan players and footballers extend to Franco a sincere and affectionate wish for a speedy and complete recovery. Captain, we are all with you!”” closes the note from the Rossoneri.
