Emerson royal, barbs at AC Milan on the day of his return to the field

After almost 8 months, Emerson Royal returned to play a starting game. He did so, of course, with Flamengo, the Brazilian club that picked him up from AC Milan after a season to forget in the shadow of the Madonnina.

The former Barcelona and Tottenham man, who was on the field from the first minute against Cearà (1-1 the final result), commented as follows: “I felt tired, especially at the end of the game”.

“It’s been a long time since I last played as a starter – noted Emerson Royal, among the eleven who faced Juventus on Jan. 18 -. Flamengo, however, hired me for this, to be one of the team”.
