Fiorentina: Polissya or Paksi in conference league playoffs
It will be either Polissya or Paksi the opponent of Fiorentina in the Conference League playoff: Ukrainians and Hungarians will face each other between Aug. 7 and Aug. 14 in the previous round.
Stefano Pioli’s team will make its away debut in Europe’s third European competition on Aug. 21, in what will be its first official match of the 2025/26 season: a week later there will be a return match at Mapei Stadium in Reggio Emilia.
At the Artemio Franchi stadium, in fact, restyling work that began last summer and will continue until the start of the 2026/2027 season is still underway.
“We are continuing to work daily together with the municipality precisely to go and prepare all the various steps necessary so that there is the certainty and security of having here in Florence a stadium that can host not only the European Championships, but that can be the home of Fiorentina, modern and welcoming for all”, had assured the general manager Alessandro Ferrari.
