Jannik Sinner meets with Emma Navarro’s billionaire parents

Not only sports but also institutional engagements for Jannik Sinner in the United States. The Italian tennis player, who will make his debut in the Cincinnati Masters 1000 this weekend, attended the opening ceremony at the Lindner Family Tennis Center, where the tournament will start in a few days.
With him were tennis legends Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf, l’former U.S. Open champion Sloane Stephens, and also Ben and Kelly Navarro, billionaire philanthropists who are the parents of Emma Navarro, who will be doubles partner of the Blue at the U.S. Open.

Sinner cut the ribbon inaugurating the new edition of America’s oldest tennis tournament right along with the Navarro’s, who have invested along with other backers more than $260 million to renovate and refurbish the entire complex, which now has 10 additional courts and a 2,000-seat basement stadium.
Sinner, who skipped the Toronto tournament in order to recover from Wimbledon fatigues, will use the competition to prepare for the U.S. Open, but he will aim to get as far ahead as possible, not only in terms of points to defend, but also in terms of the prize money: whoever wins will be awarded a sum of $1.124 million, or about 970 thousand euros.
